Bertha Nell (Wright) Miller passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at her home in Ponca City, OK. She was 90 years old.
She was born to Charlie and Sindy (Webb) Wright in Ponca City on July 31, 1933. On October 15, 1950, she married Ralph (Bill) Miller in Ponca City and to this union had two children, Diana and Bill.
Bertha was a homemaker most of her life, but she had a passion for many hobbies including painting, planting and caring for flowers, and sewing. She was also a talented musician. She loved her family more than anything especially her grandkids, great grandkids, and great-great grandkids. She also loved traveling with her husband until his passing in May of 2023.
Bertha is preceded in death by her husband Ralph (Bill) Miller; parents Charles and Sindy Wright; sister Janice Irwin; and grandson Chad Lockhart.
She is survived by her daughter Diana Lockhart of Ponca City, OK; son Bill Miller and wife Joy of Neosho, MO; granddaughter Leslee Seeliger and husband L.A. of Ponca City, granddaughter Jessica Miller of Joplin, MO, grandson Jeremy Toon of Oklahoma City, and granddaughter Michelle Coonte and husband John of Dallas, TX; 12 great-grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren.
A graveside service for Bertha will be on Friday, April 5, 2024, at 2:00 PM, at Longwood Cemetery in Ponca City. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory, 505 W. Grand Ave, Ponca City, OK 74601.
