Mary Ella Turner, age 89, of Ponca City, Oklahoma passed away March 9, 2021 at OSU Medical Center, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
A graveside service will be held At Grandview Cemetery in Kaw City on Wednesday, March 17th at 2pm with Chaplain Mike Sweetman officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory, 505 W Grand Ave, Ponca City, OK 74601.
Mary was born on April 7, 1931 in Pawhuska, Oklahoma to Frank and Hester Hall. Mary grew up in Ponca City where she spent most of her life living. She attended Ponca City High School and later graduated from beauty college. Mary married Bill Turner on July 10th 1952. She worked as a hair dresser for over 60 years. Mary loved dogs and enjoyed cooking, having football parties, OU football, and watching television.
Survivors include her brother, Sonny Hall; sister, Dora Lou McDonald; grandsons, Tony Turner, Aaron Gregory, and Jacob Wilson; granddaughter, Lexy Turner; great grandchildren, Sloan Gregory, Captain Kraft, Mycalia Wilson, Jacob Andrew Wilson and Matthew Wilson.
Preceding in death are her parents Frank and Hester Hall; husband, Bill Turner; sons, Billy Turner, and Scott Turner; and daughter, Viki Wilson.
