Grandview Cemetery


February 5, 1889 - December 8, 1957

Kaw city – Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 PM in the Methodist Church for Iral D. Fleharty, Kaw City, who died Sunday afternoon after a lengthy illness.

Fleharty, 68, was born February 5, 1889 at Silverdale, Kansas, and moved to Oklahoma in 1893 when his parents participated in the run and homesteaded 1 1/2 miles west of Kaw city. He was a veteran of World War I.

Survivors include two brothers, Ray and Bert, both of Kaw City and three sisters, Mrs. Stella VanWinkle of Oklahoma City, Mrs. Ethel Coyle of Kaw City and Mrs. Vernice Krebs, Indio, California.

Interment will be in the Kaw City Cemetery under supervision of the Whitlock Funeral Home.
