ENID — Service for Daphne Lynne Emert, 49, of Kaw City, will be 1 p.m. Friday, May 6, 2011, at Oak Grove Baptist Church with Rev. William A. Emert officiating. Committalprayers and interment will be in Kaw City Cemetery under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service.

Daphne was born Oct. 8, 1961, in Wichita, Kan., the daughter of Irwin and Marlene Munsell Moreland and died Monday, April 18, 2011, at her residence.

She was raised in Cedarvale, Kan., moving to Kaw City in November 1998.

Daphne married Richard Emert Oct. 12, 1979, in Cedarvale, Kan.

Daphne is survived by her husband, Richard of the residence; daughter, Mary Emert of Santa Rosa, Calif.; son, William Emert of Broomfield, Colo.; parents, Irwin and Marlene Moreland of Eureka, Kan.; four grandchildren; brothers, Robert Moreland of Ohio, Eddie Moreland of Wichita, Kan., and Leroy Moreland of Sedan, Kan.; and sisters, Pam Edwards of Wichita, Kan., and Theresa Tye of Douglas, Kan.
