March 15, 1871 - June 14, 1961

William Henry Shoffner, son of Susan and Henry Shoffner, died Wednesday, June 14, 1961 at Riverside Hospital, Blackwell at 9:55 AM.

William (Bill) was born March 15, 1871, in Metcalf County, Kentucky. They left Kentucky when William was seven years old to go to Missouri.

He came to Oklahoma as a young man. On September 18, 1900, he married Fannie Archie Hubbard. They settled in Braman where they raised five children.

Mr. Shoffner spent most of his life as a farmer in Kay County. He moved to Braman in 1935 after retiring.

Survivors are his wife, Fannie, of the home; his children, Opal Looman of Blackwell, Lawrence of Wichita, Kansas, Ivan of Elk City, Clythel Tremaglie and Uta Lee Lewis of Santa Ana, California; nine grandchildren and 17 great – grandchildren.
