Robbie was born on September 18, 1973 to Jimy D. Nelson and Sandra Moore Nelson in Blackwell, OK. Kay county was his home for his entire life, he attended Blackwell Schools with the class of 1992. After high school, he married Rene' Campbell on March 4, 1994 in Ponca City. Their marriage was blessed with five children, the apples of his eye. The family business, Nelson Plumbing kept Robbie busy. He later went to work for Conoco before his health forced him into an early retirement. Robbie was an all American down home country boy. His life was full of the good times with his family and friends, the sounds of good music on the radio or his guitar, out hunting, fishing, or giving his time and efforts to others. Robbie was also known for his ornery sense of humor, generosity, and skill on the grill. But above all, his deep love for family and the Lord Jesus Christ were the hallmarks of his character

Survivors include his beloved wife Rene' of the home; dear mother Sandra Nelson of Lindsay, OK; adored children; Destiny Campbell of Ponca City, Jade Campbell of Enid, Cassi Nelson of Ponca City, Trevor Nelson of Ponca City, and Jimy Nelson of Ponca City, pestered sisters: Rebecca Belair and husband Randy of Ill, Kristina Nelson of Ill, Cindy Shear of Lindsay, OK, and Karri Malicoat and husband Scott of Lindsay, OK, cherished grandchildren: Jersey, Krystofur, Kaydence, Issac, Emberlee, and one arriving soon.
