Mark Allen Miller of Blackwell, Oklahoma, died Friday, September 12, 2014, at the Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas, at the age of 46 years.
Mark Allen Miller was born on September 8, 1968, in Blackwell, Oklahoma, to Gary N. and Sharon (Ward) Miller. He grew up in Blackwell attending Blackwell Public Schools and graduated from Blackwell High School in 1986. Following his education he began working for Briggs Heating and Air in Blackwell and later worked as a safety officer and assembly operator for Ditch Witch. He enjoyed watching Oklahoma Sooner football games and riding motorcycles.
He is survived by his son, Sean Miller of Blackwell; his parents, Gary and Sharon Miller of Blackwell; an aunt and uncle, Marvin and Brenda Swopes of Blackwell; and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents; and an uncle.
Graveside services are scheduled for Tuesday, September 16th at 1:00 p.m. in the Braman Cemetery in Braman with Rev. Randy Ratliff of the First Baptist Church in Blackwell officiating. Burial will follow in the Braman Cemetery.
A memorial has been established in his memory with the Ponca City Humane Society in Ponca City c/o Roberts and Son Funeral Home, 120 W. Padon, Blackwell, Oklahoma 74631.
