Mary Ann Milford, 95, died Saturday, Oct. 26, in Blackwell Regional Hospital. Her funeral is scheduled at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Roberts and Son Funeral Home chapel. Rev. Kenneth Romines, pastor of the First Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Braman Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Clarence Steddum, Marvin McMinn, Edwin Bourne, Joe Bourne, Wayne Bourne, and John Mackie.
Mrs. Milford was born Sept. 18, 1896 in Aurora, Mo., to Joseph William and Evaline (Hartman) Bourne. She moved from Missouri to South Haven, Kas., with her parents and grew up there.
She married Homer Mackie and they settled in the Braman area, living there many years.
She later married Otas Milford in the 1950s and they settled in Deer Creek, living there until the late 1960s, when they moved into Blackwell to make their home. Her husband preceded her in death, April 17, 1971 and she remained at the home on South Main until 1987 when she moved into Blackwell Nursing Home.
Survivors include a son, John Mackie of Wann; a sister, Stella Kosarski of Bowie, Ariz; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Otas, six brothers, Wiley, Merril, Shepard, Eddie, Charlie and Earley Bourne, and two sisters, Phyllis Bourne and Cora Yoder.
