Funeral services are pending for Ernest Frank Hartman, who died Saturday at Blackwell General Hospital. Hartman, a retired pumper for Continental Oil Company, was born June 12, 1903 at Braman and came to Blackwell from Newton, Kans. in 1968.
He was a member of the Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife Edith May of the home, 603 W. Blackwell, 2 daughters, Mrs. Harold (Laveta) Jantz and Mrs. Kay Schmidt, both of Blackwell, one sister, Mrs. Hazel Dickason of Parsons, Kans., one brother, Bill Hartman of Perry, and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by an infant daughter.
Roberts and Son Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Final rites for Frank Hartman have been set for 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Church of Christ.
Warren Hockman and W. T. McLemore, Church of Christ ministers, and Bill Hamrick, minister of the Blackwell Church, will officiate.
Casketbearers are Cletis Colwell, Keith Farrah, Hugh Tickel, Ernest Chessher, Roy Northcutt, and Delmer Fitzgerald.
A memorial has been established in his name for the Turley Childrens Home. Those wishing to honor his memory may leave contributions at the funeral home or at the church office.
Burial under direction of Roberts and Son Funeral home, will be in the Braman Cemetery.
