Victoria Ann “Vicki” Ebert of Blackwell, Oklahoma, died Monday afternoon, August 5, 2019, in the Ponca City Medical Center at the age of 76 years.
Victoria Ann “Vicki” Ebert was born on November 4, 1942, in Blackwell to Carl and Margaret (Scudder) Bay. She grew up attending Braman Schools and graduated in 1960. She married Lester Boyd Ebert Jr. on January 26, 1962, in Blackwell where she served her family as a homemaker. She later worked as a seamstress for Southwest Cupid in Blackwell before operating a ceramics and gift store. She joined her husband in forming Ebert Enterprises and worked as the company’s bookkeeper. Her husband preceded her in death on November 2, 2016, and she continued to make Blackwell her home. She was a member of the Pioneer Genealogy Society in Ponca City. She enjoyed arts and crafts, especially ceramics and quilting. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband and riding motorcycles. Her favorite pastime was playing video games with her grandchildren.
She is survived by a daughter, Sue Golliver and husband Bill of Mt. Vernon, Missouri; and eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren, Erika Jones of Texas and her son, Brayden Merkel, Elisha Koehler and husband John of Edmond and their family, Brooklyn and Brynley, Candace Moore and husband Dustin of Mt. Vernon, Missouri and family, McKynlee, McKaylen and McKeslie, Gabe Golliver of Blackwell, Brandon Ebert of Blackwell, Bryce Ebert of Blackwell and his children, Jaxson Browning, Matthew Morris and Jayden Ebert, Jari Ebert of Blackwell and her family, Dallas and Riley, and Tyler Miller of Blackwell.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; a son, Tony Ebert; a daughter, Celeste Ebert; and a brother, Dean Bay.
Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 9th in the Roberts and Son Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Ebert of Van Buran, Arkansas, officiating. Burial will follow in the Braman Cemetery.
Casketbearers will be Tyler Miller, Gabe Golliver, Bill Golliver, Pat Ebert, Pat Ebert Jr., and John Koehler. Serving as honorary casketbearers will be Mike Terry and Frank Barrows.
