Sonia Crow of Stillwater, Oklahoma, died Monday, March 2, 2015, at the OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, after complications of a fall at her home, at the age of 68 years.
Sonia Crow was born in Blackwell, Oklahoma, on February 18, 1947. She was the daughter of Robert Derald and Irene (Clark) Crow. She grew up in Braman attending Braman High School, graduating with the class of 1966. Following her graduation, she went to work at Oklahoma State University, working in the food service department. She worked at O.S.U. for forty-four years as a dedicated employee, retiring in December of 2013. Sonia was an avid O.S.U. fan and looked forward to watching all of the O.S.U. sporting events. Her co-workers were a very important part of her life and she considered them her family. She also enjoyed traveling with family members. She looked forward to birthdays and holidays to be able to spend time with her niece and nephew and their families. Sonia was a member of the Braman First United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her brother, Randy Crow and wife Pat of Braman; a nephew, Dr. Dennis Crow and wife Mary Ellen of Frisco, Texas; a niece, Dr. Darolyn McGinley and husband Brandon of Norman; great nephews, Keegan and Riley Crow and Luke and Ben McGinley; and a great niece, Berit McGinley.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorial services are scheduled for 1:30 p.m., Saturday, March 7th in the Braman Methodist Church in Braman with Rev. C. M. Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at a later date in the Braman Cemetery.
Memorials have been established in her memory with the Braman Methodist Church and the Braman Cemetery in c/o Roberts and Son Funeral Home, 120 W. Padon, Blackwell, Oklahoma 74631.
