Edna L. Grace
March 9, 1927 - December 2, 2024

Edna L. Grace of Blackwell, Oklahoma, passed away early Monday morning, December 2, 2024, in Hillcrest Manor Nursing Home at the age of 97 years.

Edna L. Grace was born on March 9, 1927, in Webb City, Oklahoma, to Edgar and Alice McNett. She attended Fairfax Public Schools. She married Clarence Grace on January 15, 1947, in Wellington, Kansas, and they made their home in Blackwell. The family later moved to New Mexico and Texas before moving to Braman, Oklahoma, in 1957. He preceded her in death on October 25, 2001, and she later moved into Blackwell to make her home. She enjoyed being with family and friends, camping, fishing, playing cards and bingo. She also loved to listen and dance to country music.

She is survived by a daughter, Joyce Barney and husband Wayne of Enid; three sons, Dewayne Grace and wife Marilyn of Ottawa, Kansas, Gene Grace and wife Connie of Blackwell, and James Grace of Kaw City; twelve grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; a son, Lonnie Grace; three sisters, Effie Keeler, and Marion and Ada who were infants; two brothers, Marvin and Richard McNett; a grandson, Huck Bowen; and two daughter-in-laws, Sherry Grace and Connie Grace.

Services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m., Friday, December 6th in the Roberts and Son Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kevin Bookout officiating. Burial will follow in the Braman Cemetery.

Casketbearers will be Troy Grace, Jody Tapp, James Tapp, Toby Grace and Darren Grace.

A memorial has been established in her honor with the Braman Cemetery Association, in c/o Roberts and Son Funeral Home, 120 W. Padon, Blackwell, Oklahoma 74631.
