Linda Sue Rexford, longtime resident of Ponca City, passed Sunday, December 6, 2015 at her home. She was 66 years of age.

Linda was born August 13, 1949 in Blackwell, Oklahoma, the daughter of Willard Allbaugh and Lura (Sherwood) Allbaugh. She was a 1967 graduate of Blackwell High School where she participated in band as a saxophone player. She was married to Michael ''Mikey'' Rexford on July 21, 1972 in Ponca City. The couple at one time had owned and operated Linda's Monogramming in Ponca City. Linda was employed with Conoco for 20 years, retiring as a Geophysicist. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, a longtime member of the Pioneer Area Quilting Guild, and the Ponca City FFA Booster Club. Her enjoyments included her grandchildren, quilting, trips to the casino's, OSU basketball and a good cup of coffee. She was also known for her brownies that she made for all occasions.

She is survived by her two children, Kim Hoffman and significant other Todd, of Ponca City, and Shawn Rexford and wife Denise, of Red Rock; one sister, Katherine Tweedy of Portland, Oregon; eight grandchildren, Melissa Fields, Michelle Darling and husband Cody, Merrick Hall and husband Nick, Brayden Rexford, Bryce Rexford, Magan Robinson, Macee Robinson and Cooper Robinson; five great grandchildren Talon Darling, Case Darling, Demi Darling, Cash Fields and Kade Hall; sisters-in-law, Leanna Rexford and Judy Rexford; numerous nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Michael on April 16, 2004; one brother, Marvin Allbaugh; two nephews, George Rexford and Jon Allbaugh; and brother in-law Linus Rexford.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at Grace Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, December 10, 2015 at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Deacon Dick Robinson presiding. Burial will follow in the Blackwell Cemetery under the direction of Grace Memorial Chapel.

Casket bearers are Todd Robinson, Cooper Robinson, Cody Darling, Talon Darling, Nick Hall, Barry Lane, Darrin Lane and Terry Lane.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of North Central Oklahoma, 445 Fairview, Ponca City, Oklahoma 74601.
