March 4, 1978 - May 19, 2018 Eric Nutt, formerly of Blackwell, Oklahoma, died Saturday, May 19, 2018, in the Northeastern Health System in Tahlequah at the age of 40 years.

Eric Todd Nutt was born on March 4, 1978, in Ponca City, Oklahoma, to Richard Loyd and Denise Rae (Brewer) Nutt. He grew up in Blackwell, Oklahoma, and graduated from Blackwell High School in 1997. In 2006, he moved to Tahlequah, Oklahoma. He married Kaylynn Renee Hubbard on February 5, 2007 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. They have two children, Ali and Rachel.

Eric loved to go hunting and fishing, and enjoyed watching any kind of sport, namely football, baseball, and most of all, the Oklahoma City Thunder. He was a very social person, and loved being around people. Eric was very friendly and outgoing, and loved going to his church, New Life Worship Center, in Tahlequah. He was so grateful for his family and friends, as they were for him. He was loved by everyone who knew him, and will be sorely missed.

He is survived by his wife, Kaylynn Nutt of Tahlequah; two daughters, Rachel Nutt and Ali Nutt of Tahlequah; mother, Denise Nutt of Blackwell; sister, Megan Rawlings and husband Wil of Norman; grandparents, Janice and Keith Brewer of Blackwell; nephew, Liam Rawlings of Norman; niece, Lily Rawlings of Norman; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Rick Nutt; grandparents, Clifford and Mary Nutt; and aunt, Lesa Nutt.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at the Blackwell Cemetery with Pastor Kelly Coffey officiating.

Memorials have been established in his honor with New Life Worship Center’s Priesthood Motorcycle Ministry in c/o Roberts and Son Funeral Home, 120 W. Padon, Blackwell, Oklahoma 74631.
