Adam Lesley North of Collinsville, Oklahoma, died September 2, 2020, in the St. John’s Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 37 years.
Adam Lesley North was born on May 18, 1983, in Drumright, Oklahoma, to William E. “Billy” and Bobie Jean (Gaines) North. He grew up attending Oilton Public Schools before attending Sperry High School where he graduated in 2002. He furthered his education by attending Tulsa Community College and worked various jobs in the area. He married Jessica Beaver on July 14, 2007, and they settled in Owasso, Oklahoma. He worked as a receiving manager for Ameristar for ten years. His wife preceded him in death on January 14, 2012. He later married Trisha Morgan on February 3, 2017, in Las Vegas, Nevada, and the couple settled in Collinsville, Oklahoma. In 2018 he began working as a railroad contractor for Railserve in Tulsa and was working there at the time of his death. He enjoyed playing golf, collecting sports memorabilia and family genealogy. His passions were the Denver Broncos, Cleveland Indians, the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Trisha North of Collinsville; his mother, Bobbie Shackelford and husband Richard of Collinsville; his father, Billy North and wife Jesse of Chandler; a daughter, Emma North of Collinsville; a son, Jaxon North of Collinsville; a step-sister, Tami Hewitt of Broken Arrow; and a half-brother, Lance Jeanes of Tahlequah.
He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
A graveside service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 4th in the Blackwell Cemetery with Chaplain Kevin Laufer officiating. Burial will follow in the Blackwell Cemetery.
