August 1, 1945 - November 17, 2024

Melody Mae Myers, 79, of Stillwater, OK, (formerly of Ponca City) left this life on Sunday, November 17, 2024. Viewing will be held from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, with a Funeral Ceremony beginning at 2:00 PM, on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at the First Church of the Nazarene in Ponca City, OK. Pastor Ron Berkley will be officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Blackwell Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory, 505 W. Grand Ave, Ponca City, OK, 74601.

Melody was born on Wednesday, August 1, 1945, in Cherokee, OK, to Thelma (Pettit) Sigl. Melody married Larry Myers and October 10, 1981. She worked many jobs throughout her life, but being a beautician was her favorite. Melody enjoyed meeting with her church group every week, playing games, and singing hymns. She also liked to cook, and was a collector of many things.

Melody is survived by: her husband, Larry Myers, of Stillwater, OK; sister, Benita Dulick and her husband, Arkell, of Atlanta, GA; sister-in-law, Joyce Myers; nieces, Melanie Moody, Denise Lowe, Brandi Eckman, and Cori Buchanan. She was preceded in death by her mom.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Church of the Nazarene, 1900W. Grand Ave, Ponca City, OK 74601.
