Audrey Mae Levings of Blackwell, Oklahoma, died Wednesday, August 8, 2018, in the Hillcrest Manor Nursing Home at the age of 100 years.

Audrey Mae Levings was born on January 1, 1918, in Verden, Oklahoma, to Ad and Margaret Ella (McCoy) Harris. She attended Verden Schools until the age of fifteen when she moved with her mother to Blackwell to make their home. On June 6, 1934, she married Steve Levings in Newkirk and they settled at Three Sands south of Tonkawa where she served her family as a homemaker. In 1956, the couple moved to Blackwell and she continued as a homemaker. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Blackwell and was a regular in two different card groups that played on Tuesdays and Thursdays. She loved to travel with different tour groups and has visited every state in the union. She also enjoyed working the daily crossword puzzle.

She is survived by a daughter, Shirley Wilson of Norman; four grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and ten great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Steve; her parents; a son, Kenny Levings; a sister, Margie Cline; and a great grandson, Matthew Wilson.

Graveside services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Saturday, August 11th in the Blackwell Cemetery with Rev. Kelly Coffey officiating. Burial will follow in the Blackwell Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in her honor with the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation in c/o Roberts and Son Funeral Home, 120 W. Padon, Blackwell, Oklahoma 74631.
