Eve Marie Kugel of Tonkawa, Oklahoma, died Saturday morning, May 14, 2016, in the AllianceHealth-Blackwell at the age of 38 years. Eve Marie Kugel was born on April 5, 1978, in Blackwell to Stephen Wesley and Debra Lynn (Dollarhide) Morgan. She grew up in Tonkawa and attended Tonkawa Public Schools before graduating from Blackwell High School in 1996. She furthered her education by attending Northern Oklahoma College in Tonkawa before attending beauty school in Stillwater. She later transferred to Ponca Beauty School. She married Bryan Kugel on November 7, 2003, in Maui, Hawaii, and they settled in Tonkawa where she served her family as a homemaker and enjoyed interior design and cooking for her family. She also enjoyed exercising and handcrafts, including ceramics and painting.
She is survived by a daughter, Anna Kugel of Tonkawa; her mother, Debbie Morgan of Vinita, Oklahoma; grandparents, Ann Vickery and Dr. Robert Morgan, both of Blackwell and Cindy Nida of Tonkawa; a sister, Stacy Morgan of Blackwell; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Steve Morgan; and a grandmother, Bernice Dollarhide.
Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 17th in the Roberts and Son Funeral Home Chapel with Kelly Troutman of Ponca City, officiating. Burial will follow in the Blackwell Cemetery.
A memorial has been established in her honor with the Edwin Fair Mental Health Center in c/o Roberts and Son Funeral Home, 120 W. Padon, Blackwell, Oklahoma 74631.
