Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Kite, a longtime resident of Blackwell, died at 7 p.m. Wednesday at her home, 312 W. College, where she had been confined the past 10 days.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the First Methodist Church with Rev. W. Jene Miller officiating. Burial will be in the IOOF cemetery under direction of the Porter Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are to be Fred McGee, William Rodgers, Vasser Dyer, Jone Milligan, Harold Weigle, and Don Long.
Mrs. Kite is the widow of the late George Kite who preceded her in death a number of years ago.
She was born in Jamestown, KY., and moved with her parents to Belle Plains, Kans., then later to the Blackwell vicinity. She was a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Fred Erdwurm and Miss Velma Kite, both of Blackwell; a son, Max, and one brother, R.L. Cooper of Pond Creek.
