Mary Christine Rahlf Johnson of Blackwell, Oklahoma, died Sunday, April 5, 2015, at her home at the age of 57 years.
Mary Christine Rahlf Johnson was born on December 25, 1957, in Blackwell to Herbert and Verda Mae Rahlf. She grew up in Blackwell and attended Blackwell Public Schools and graduated from Blackwell High School in 1976. She furthered her education by attending Northern Oklahoma Junior College in Tonkawa receiving an associate’s degree in 2003. While attending college she worked in the registrar’s office for two years. She also worked as the manager of Blackwell Pizza Hut for eighteen years before managing the bakery and deli department for United Supermarket in Blackwell. She enjoyed camping, fishing and spending time with family and friends. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Shantel Spracklin and husband Matt Emerine and Amber Spracklin and companion Lacy Tennell, all of Blackwell; three granddaughters, Brynlie Spracklin, Adalyn Winters and Heaven Emerine; two brothers, Terry Rahlf and wife Julie and Teddy Rahlf and wife Carol; a sister, Debbie Heath and husband Fred; life-long friend, Linda Fleming Thomas; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Dennis Rahlf; and a sister, Vicki Irons.
Services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Thursday, April 9th in the First Baptist Church in Blackwell with Rev. Randy Ratliff officiating. Burial will follow in the Blackwell Cemetery.
Casketbearers will be Brandon Heath, Ryan Rahlf, Justin Rahlf, Travis Rahlf, Christopher Irons, Michael Stasyszen, and Mike Stasyszen. Honorary casketbearers will be Matt Emerine, Lacy Tennell and Mike Spracklin.
A memorial has been established in her honor with the First Baptist Church and Hospice of North Central Oklahoma in c/o Roberts and Son Funeral Home, 120 W. Padon, Blackwell, Oklahoma 74631.
