Floydean Johnson
November 27, 1940 - November 24, 2024

Floydean Johnson of Blackwell, Oklahoma, passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2024, in Hillcrest Manor Nursing Home at the age of 83 years.

Floydean Johnson was born on November 27, 1940, in Miami, Oklahoma, to Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Collins.

She grew up in Miami and attended Miami Public Schools. While in high school she met Robert O. Johnson and they were married on August 20, 1955, in Miami. Following their marriage they returned to high school where they both graduated from Miami High School. They later moved to Houston, Texas, for a year before returning to Miami to make their home and she served her family as a homemaker. In 1963 her husband entered the ministry and they lived in several communities before moving to Blackwell in June of 1969 where he pastored and led The Tabernacle Church. She was the ultimate pastor's wife and served along her husband in the church. She was a member of The Tabernacle and enjoyed her pastoral duties.

She is survived by her husband, Robert O. Johnson of Blackwell; three sons, Rob Johnson and wife Von of Atlanta, Georgia, Cliff Johnson and wife Kristi of Blackwell and Chris Johnson and lifelong friend Amber of Blackwll; grandchildren, Brittney Johnson of Ponca City, Megan Mayden of Edmond, Jessica Johnson of Ponca City, and Kenzie Johnson of Atlanta; and great grandchildren, Connor and Jeriah Fouch of Ponca City, Nora, Theo and Eden Mayden of Edmond, and Greyson Lunn of Ponca City.

She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant son, Joel David Johnson; two sisters; and a grandson, Nathan Johnson.

Services are scheduled for 1:30 p.m., Saturday, November 30th in the Tabernacle with Rev. Cliff Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Blackwell Cemetery.

A memorial fund has been established in her honor with The Tabernacle, 1013 N. 9th Street, Blackwell, Oklahoma 74631.
