Shelley Ann Husted of Blackwell, Oklahoma, died Sunday, April 19, 2015, in the St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City at the age of 50 years.
Shelley Ann Husted was born on November 11, 1964, in Blackwell to Robert Glen and Carol Jean (Inmon) Husted.
She grew up in Blackwell and graduated from Blackwell High School in 1982.
Following her education she worked for nine years at the Sonic Drive In before working for Southwest Cupid for twenty-one years retiring in 2007. She later worked as a supervisor for the Tonkawa Casino East.
She enjoyed playing computer games, and fishing and camping with family.
She is survived by her father, Robert Husted of Blackwell; a sister, Vicky Cooper of Blackwell; and a brother, Rob Husted of Blackwell.
She was preceded in death by her mother and grandparents.
Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 22nd in the Roberts and Son Funeral Home Chapel with James W. Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in the Blackwell Cemetery.
Honorary casketbearers will be Anthony Brand, Seth Sullivan and Sean Sullivan.
Serving as casketbearers will be Rob Husted, Blake Husted, Braden Husted, Bode Husted, Sam Shorey and Chad Purser.
A memorial has been established in her honor with the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation for heart research in c/o Roberts and Son Funeral Home, 120 W. Padon, Blackwell, Oklahoma 74631.
