Vera Ilene Hallmark, age 88, resident of Blackwell, OK, passed away March 19, 2015 in Blackwell.
Private family services will be held at a later date. She will be buried next to her husband at the Blackwell Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home of Blackwell.
Vera was born on July 28, 1926 to John Ralph Patterson and Flossie Craft Patterson in Deer Creek, OK. She lived for her family, trout fishing and working on old cars with her husband.
Survivors include her sons, Allen Hallmark of Blackwell, Ovan Hallmark and his wife Ila of Jackson, MS, John Hallmark and his wife Alice of San Jose, CA, grandchildren: Cesar Hallmark, Mara Hartline, Jason Hallmark, Adam Hallmark, Aaron Hallmark, Nicholas Hallmark, and Spencer Hallmark, great grandchildren, Isabella, Max, Alan, Ella, Addisyn, Avery, and Abby.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alton P. Hallmark, parents, sisters: Esther Sheets, Wanda Kennon, Ethyl Layton, and Dormilee Reese.
