Courtney Carolyn Grove, 24, went to her heavenly home Monday, April 15, 2024. Courtney was born April 17, 1999 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Melissa and Bart Cline. She was raised in both Blackwell, Oklahoma, and Fort Smith, Arkansas. She attended elementary schools in both areas and graduated from Blackwell High School in 2017. Shortly after graduating, Courtney joined the United States Army Reserve.

Courtney is survived by her parents, Melissa Cline and Bart Cline; grandmother, Carla Schatz; sisters, Kaylee Turner and her husband Layne Turner, and Breanna Smith; brothers, Colton Varner and Bart Cline Jr; aunt, Erin Gerboth and her husband Scott Gerboth; uncle, Jared Raper; nieces, Haiden Spence, Peyton Fox, Aubree Varner, Leighton Looper, Emmalynn Matal, and Oaklynn Varner; nephews, Liam Baughman and Levi Turner; cousins, Trinity Raper, Jaden Raper, and Jaxon Raper; as well as many other relatives.

She is preceded in death by grandparents, Patricia Grove and Marlyn Grove; grandmother, Mary Bruce; and aunt Marsha Pettis.

Courtney was an avid lover of basketball, playing any chance she could and thoroughly enjoyed winning against her brothers. She loved going to the gym, building her shoe collection, and most importantly spending time with her family. Known as Aunt Corky to her nieces and nephews, she enjoyed playing with them and spoiling them beyond belief, as well as giving them each unique humorous nicknames. In addition to her nieces and nephews, Courtney also loved and spoiled her sweet Ollie. She delighted in light-hearted banter with her siblings as well as being in their presence. Courtney held family close to heart and never hesitated to love and be there for any person she encountered. She dazzled many with her charming smile, witty retorts, and brightened each day. She touched the hearts of many people and will be deeply missed by all.

Services are scheduled Saturday, 10:30 a.m., April 20th, at the First Christian Church in Blackwell with the Rev. Jeff Koch officiating. Burial will follow in the Blackwell Cemetery.

Colton Varner, Bart Cline Jr, Bart Cline Sr,, Jared Raper, Reggie Culpepper, and Kysen Osburn will serve as casketbearers. Honorary casketbearers will be Breanna Smith, Kaylee Turner, Erin Gerboth, Trinity Raper, Carla Schatz, Melissa Cline and Scott Gerboth.
