The graveside Memorial Services Celebrating and Honoring the life of Dorothy Fauchier, 92, of Blackwell, will be held 1:00 P.M. Saturday June 5, 2021 in the Blackwell Cemetery with Reverend Kevin Ditmore officiating. Complete cremation care and services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

Dorothy was born March 9, 1929 to Vern and Myrtle Rowe on a farm near Billings, Oklahoma and went to be with her Lord and Savior May 26, 2021.

As a small child she moved to a farm north of Tonkawa with her family and attended a rural one room school until Jr. High & High school which she attended in Blackwell.

She worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company and met and married Willard Fauchier in 1946. The couple farmed until moving to Blackwell where their three children were born. She then stayed at home and raised her children. She went to work for the C.R. Anthony Department Store as a Bookkeeper in 1964 until her retirement in 1984. The couple was married fifty-eight years when Willard passed away in 2004. After Willards death she moved to Tonkawa for nine years and then Enid. In 2017 she moved to Blackwell, where she currently lived.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church where she loved helping with bible school and funeral dinners. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved family get togethers and being with her friends.

She is survived by her three children, Dennis Fauchier and wife Loretta, of Enid, Dean Fauchier, of Blackwell, and Cathy Haen and husband Jim, of Tonkawa. Grandchildren, Michelle Kruse and husband Brian, Enid, Lisa Bartholomew and husband Kevin, Conway, Arkansas, Rachel Tooman and husband Brad, Janelle Edger, Tulsa, Ryan Jackson and wife Trisha, Bonus grandson Jay Haen, Los Angeles, Ca. and Bonus grandson Austin Richards and wife, Amber, Enid. Great grandchildren, Elisabeth, Amelia and Olivia Bartholomew, Evie Edgar, Haylee and Kyle Jackson, Enid, Phobie, Merrick, and Finn Tooman, and Ruby Richards, Enid. Sister Pauline Cheney, Hill City, Ks. Good friend of many years, Margret Lunsford, and many Cousins, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Willard Fauchier, granddaughter Tracy Lynn Fauchier, grandson Matthew Jackson, daughter in Laws Mary Lorg Fauchier and Barbara Fauchier, sisters Ollie Crawford and Francis Wilson, brother George Rowe.
