Paradine "Pat" Epperly passed away on Friday, June 14, 2019 in Oklahoma City. She was 84 years old.
Pat was born September 12, 1934 in Hanna, Oklahoma to Ralph and Alta Stout. "O'dell". The family later moved to Blackwell, Oklahoma, where Paradine grew up and attended school. She met and married Glen Franklin Epperly on September 8, 1950, in Blackwell.
Paradine spent her life working in many fields. She worked several years for the Turvey's Packing Plant in Blackwell until it's closure. She then worked for the Tonkawa Foundry for many years before transitioning to the medical field, spending the remainder of her working career as a CMA in multiple nursing facilities.
She is survived by her children, Mary and Willie Stafford of Ponca City, Melinda and James Dobson of Deer Creek, Dexter Epperly of Ponca City, Ron Epperly and family of Ponca City, and Mike Epperly of Blackwell, eleven grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren, two sisters, Lois Allen of Cushing and Jeannie Bobeck of Kingfisher, four brothers, Jay Stout of Ponca City, Lloyd Stout of California, Riley Stout and Alfred Stout both of Tulsa, as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and step-father, her husband Glen, two daughters, Colleen and Judy, one son, Roger and wife Janet, one brother, Edward Stout, and four sisters, Martha Lindsey, Shirley Crossen, Debbie Adams, and Mable Andrews Conover.
Friends and loved ones may pay their respects at Trout Funeral Home & Crematory in Ponca City on Thursday and Friday, June 20th and 21st, until 8:00 pm. A funeral ceremony for Pat will be held at the chapel at Trout Funeral Home in Ponca City on Saturday, June 22nd at 2:00 pm. Following the ceremony, she will be laid to rest next to her husband at Blackwell Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory.
