July 22, 1970 - December 26, 2021Carolyn Mae Epperly, formerly of Blackwell, died Sunday morning, December 26, 2021, in the OSU Medical Center in Tulsa at the age of 51 years.
Carolyn Mae Epperly was born on July 22, 1970, in Blackwell to Ralph Walter and Carolyn Ann (Butzbach) Epperly Sr. She grew up in Blackwell and graduated from Blackwell High School in 1989. Following her education she began working in the cafeteria at the Blackwell General Hospital. She later began working as a caregiver at the Opportunity Center in Ponca City for several years. She then began working in home health care before moving to Okemah, Oklahoma, where she continued in home health care. She enjoyed attending rodeos and playing with her cats. She loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her parents, Ralph and Carolyn Epperly Sr. of Braman; and three brothers, Ralph Epperly Jr. of Braman, Robert Epperly of Blackwell, and Paul Epperly of Blackwell.
She was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents.
Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Monday, January 3rd in the Roberts and Son Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jeremy Fairris of Okemah officiating. Burial will follow in the Blackwell Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Sunday, January 2nd from 2:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Casketbearers will be Justin Epperly, Robert “Scooter” Epperly, Jesse Eperly, Jeffery Jackson, Derrick McNamara and Tyler Clark.
A memorial has been established in her honor with the Opportunity Center in Ponca City in c/o Roberts and Son Funeral Home, 120 W. Padon, Blackwell, Oklahoma 74631.
