The funeral for Tinch Arnold Cole Jr., 46, of Pond Creek, will be 10 a.m. Friday at Blackwell High School auditorium. The Revs. Jeff Koch and Sonja Tobey will officiate. Burial will be in Blackwell Cemetery. Arrangements are by Roberts and Son Funeral Home, Blackwell.

He was born July 17, 1960, in Blackwell to Tinch Arnold Sr. and Wanda M. Hunt Cole and died Friday, April 27, 2007, in Ponca City.

He grew up in Tonkawa and Blackwell and moved to California with his family in 1966 where and attended school. In 1979, he returned to Blackwell. He joined the National Guard in the early 1980s, serving three years. He worked at various jobs.

He married Ann Ysbrand in 1986. In 1992 he began work in the maintenance department at Hillcrest Manor Nursing Home, Blackwell.

He later married Rene Bauckus in August 2000 in Las Vegas. They settled in Blackwell. In 2006 he moved his family to Pond Creek and began work for Integris Bass Baptist Health Center as plant supervisor. He coached boys and girls baseball, T-ball and softball, refereed football and basketball and umpired little league baseball. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Blackwell and attended Pond Creek Methodist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Rene Cole, of Pond Creek; one son, Trey Cole of Pond Creek; three daughters, Mikayla Bauckas-Scott, Savannah Ryan and Abigail Cole, all of Pond Creek; his father, Tinch Cole Sr. of Blackwell; and four sisters, Terry Wheeler of Anaheim, Calif., Connie Cole of Blackwell, Wilma Durbin of San Diego and Loretta Martin of Bartlesville.

He was preceded in death by his mother and former wife, Ann Ysbrand.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to children of Tinche Cole Jr. education fund at BancFirst in Blackwell.
