Coleman Rite Pends
Services for Catherine M. Coleman are pending with Roberts Funeral Home. She died Saturday at 3:15 a.m. in St. Joseph Medical Center-Blackwell. Her residence was at 1224 West Blackwell.
Mrs.Coleman was born Dec. 9, 1909 in Chanute, Kansas and was 75. She grew up around the Chanute and Neodesha areas and married Clyde Coleman in 1926 in Newkirk.
They settled in the Blackwell area and had lived here since. Her husband died in 1962.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Norman (Evelyn) Steel of Tulsa and Mrs. Hoyle (Betty) Hicks of Blackwell; two sisters, Leona Hill of Coffeyville, Kansas and Sadie Culberton of Fredonea, Kansas; three brothers, Kenneth Arthurs and Earl Robinson, both of Blackwell, and Charles Robinson of Tulsa; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Clyde Jr. in infancy.

Coleman Rite set Tuesday
Final rites for Mrs. Catherine M. Coleman have been set for 2 p.m. Tuesday in Roberts and Son chapel.
Rev. Wayne Bookout, pastor of the Free Will Baptist Church, will officiate.
Casketbearers will be John Waycaster, Lester Bookout, LeRoy Dice, Troy Modwy, Lee Vermillion and Lee Dice.
The body will lie in state at the funeral home until time for the service and the casket will then be closed.
Burial is to be in the IOOF Cemetery.
Mrs. Coleman died Saturday in St. Joseph Medical Center-Blackwell.
