Evelyn Cran Cain was born on March 30, 1940, in Hanford, California to Arthur and Laura Berryhill, and passed away on June 15, 2021, in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 81 years, 2 months, and 16 days.
She married Estell Richard “Ed” Cain on January 19, 1959. She was a loving and caring person. Evelyn worked at Blackwell Regional Hospital, retiring after 20 years. She loved her grandchildren, playing bingo, and reading lots and lots of books. She loved family gatherings, and never met a stranger. You never left her house hungry. In later years, she went to live with her son Randy Cain in Stilwell, Oklahoma.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Estell Cain, and her daughter: Debbie Dyer, 3 brothers: Leo Berryhill, Lloyd Berryhill, and David Berryhill.
Evelyn is survived by her son: Randy Cain of Stilwell, Oklahoma. 1 brother: Aurther Berryhill of Tulsa, Oklahoma; 2 sisters: Janie Burt of Fayetteville, Arkansas, and Suzanne London of Memphis, Tennessee. Grandsons: Cyrus Dyer, and Tyler Dyer and wife Bobbi; great grandchildren: Taylor, Jackson, Karsten, and Teagan Dyer; step grandchildren: Jason, and Jennifer Murray.
Graveside Service was held 10:00 am, Friday, June 18, 2021 at the Blackwell 100F Cemetery, S Hwy 177, Blackwell, OK 74631 under the direction of Roberts-Reed Culver Funeral Home, Stilwell, OK.
