Ronald David Bersche of Blackwell, Oklahoma, died November 7, 2020, in the Blackwell Regional Hospital at the age of 78 years.
Ronald David Bersche was born on April 1, 1942, in Blackwell to Arnold Van and Nadine (Stutzman) Bersche. He grew up in Blackwell attending Blackwell Public Schools and graduated from Blackwell High School. He furthered his education by attending Oklahoma State University in Stillwater. He married Esther Ramhorst on June 6, 1964, in Blackwell. Ron worked in accounting for Mobil Oil Company, the Army Corps of Engineers and Conoco. He was an avid hunter and fisherman until ill health forced him to quit. He was a life-long member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Blackwell.
He is survived by his wife, Esther Bersche; two daughters, Rhonda Selfridge and husband Mike, and Wendy Fruendt and husband Kevin; grandsons, Aidan Bersche and Roman Bersche; a brother, Don Bersche and wife Vernice; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a son, Lance Bersche.
Private services will be held at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Blackwell with Rev. Ned Moerbe officiating. Burial will follow in the Blackwell Cemetery.
Serving as casketbeares will be Aidan Bersche, Roman Bersche, Kyle Bersche, Dustin Bersche, Kevin Fruendt and Byron Hildenbrand.
A memorial has been established in his honor with Trinity Lutheran Church in c/o Roberts and Son Funeral Home, 120 W. Padon, Blackwell, Oklahoma 74631.
