January 30, 1940 - April 16, 2021

Patsy L. Beard, of Blackwell, Oklahoma, passed away at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 16, 2021 at her home at the age of 81 years.

Patsy was born on January 30, 1940 in Arkansas City, Kansas to Robert and Opal Beard. She moved to Blackwell, Oklahoma where she grew up and attended Blackwell Public Schools. She moved away from Blackwell and made Skiatook, Oklahoma her home until she became ill.

She worked at Southwestern Bell Telephone Company and went to beauty school during her younger years. She also worked for International American Ceramic Tile prior to her retirement.

Patsy enjoyed concerts and traveling, and especially watching her grandchildren play sports, and she loved spending time with her family.

Survivors include her companion, Larry Wilcox; daughters, Becky Wolfe of Blackwell, Oklahoma and Cheryl (Matt) Riley of Enid, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Derek and Amber Meadows of Tonkawa, Oklahoma, Kyle and Jayme Wolfe of Nardin, Oklahoma, Annie Wolfe of Blackwell, Oklahoma, Nathan and Sunni Riley of Enid, Oklahoma, Natalie and Brenan Hutton of Yukon, Oklahoma; great-grandchildren, Krysten, Taylor, Karlee, Louden, Kyrin, Kroy, Jayda, Cooper, and three more on the way; two great-great grandchildren, Kaylor and Karlen; three sisters, Mary Glass, Sherry Taylor, Sue Ward; four brothers, Kenny, Glen, Jimmy, Butch; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Gary and Ronnie; and a great-grandson, Larric Wolfe.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at Blackwell Cemetery with Chaplain Justin Pickup officiating.
