November 6, 1933 - September 19, 2024

Edna Jane Brittian, age 90 of Blackwell, OK, passed away Thursday, September 19,2024, at Ponca City Nursing & Rehab Center. A Graveside Ceremony will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at the Blackwell Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory, 505 W. Grand Ave, Ponca City, OK, 74601.

Edna was born November 6,1933, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, the youngest of 8 children born to William M. Johnson and Martha Jane Johnson. Edna married Carrol Brittian and they made their home in Blackwell. Edna worked at the Plainsman Restaurant for over 20 years.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, William and Martha Johnson; her husband, Carrol Brittian; her daughter, Mary Jane Eliker; 3 sisters; 4 brothers; and her stepson, Mark Brittian. She is survived by: her nephew, Derrel Day and wife, Glenda, of Purcell, Oklahoma;sister Bernice Suggs of Idabel; step-daughter-in-law, Kim Brittian and family.
