Peggy Annette Allbaugh Peggy Annette Allbaugh of Blackwell passed from this
life Feb 15, 2012, at the age of 80. One of three children, Peggy was born May 31, 1931,
to Henry Hudson (USA) & Mary Thelma (Bennett) Cummings of Garber. She
graduated from Blackwell High School in 1949 and married her high school
sweetheart, Marvin Willard Allbaugh, on July 21, 1951. Peggy received her Bachelor’s Degree from
Northwestern Oklahoma State University in Alva and served as a teacher in
the Blackwell school system for over twenty-five years as an elementary and
junior high home economics teacher. She was preceded in death by her parents, her
brother Hudson Cummings (USMC) her husband, Marvin, and grandson Cpl. Jeremy
Allbaugh (USMC). Peggy is survived by her three sons, Joe M. Allbaugh
and wife Diane of Oak Hill, Texas, Jon M. Allbaugh and wife Jenifer of
Edmond, and Jay H. Allbaugh of Wichita, Kansas; her sister, Marilyn Davis
and husband Larry of Wichita, Kansas. She greatly enjoyed her family
including seven grandchildren; David Birdwell, Norman, Chase Allbaugh,
Stillwater, Taylor Allbaugh, Austin, Texas, Bryan Allbaugh, Lindsey, Jason
Allbaugh, Edmond, Alicia Allbaugh, Tyler, Texas, and Lauryn
Shabanowitz and husband Tim of Denver, Colorado; and many nieces and
nephews. Services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m., Monday,
February 20th in the First Presbyterian Church in Blackwell with the Rev.
Eric Dittman of the First Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will follow in the Blackwell Cemetery. The information on this site is provided free for the purpose of researching your genealogy.
