Anna Carolyn Ailey
June 25, 1944 - January 14, 2025

Anna Carolyn Ailey was born June 25, 1944, in Garden City Missouri to Cleo and Anna Bradford. She moved to Blackwell, OK where she graduated high school in 1962.

She married Clarence "Babe" Rouse in December of 1968. Babe was killed in action in Vietnam on March 11, 1969. Their daughter, Johnie Rena was born later that year.

Carolyn married Wesley Ailey on September 30, 1971. They had two children, Jeffrey Wayne and Bobbie Dawn.

She loved the Lord and was a devout member of the Blackwell Church of Christ. Her church family was very special to her. Her classmates from the Blackwell Class of 1962 also held a big place in her heart. She loved music and books, and her greatest accomplishment was passing those things on to her children. She enjoyed doting on her grandchildren, nieces and nephews and following their many accomplishments. Faith and family were the most precious part of her life.

Carolyn is survived by her children, Johnie (Rusty) Strader, Jeff Ailey and Bobbie (Bill) Cutsinger. Grandchildren Nick (Katelyn) Decker, DuPriest and Elizabeth Cutsinger and great-grandson Corbin.

Also, sister Darlene Johns, sisters-in-law Marjorie Oard, Joyce Willbanks and Sally Weingartner. Brothers-in-law Floyd, Everett, Earl, Mike and Bob Ailey. Special nephews Derry and DeeJay Johns and their families as well as numerous other nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband’s Clarence Rouse and Wesley Ailey.

Casket bearers will be Nick Decker, DuPriest Cutsinger, Derry Johns, DeeJay Johns, Rusty Strader and Bill Cutsinger.

A memorial has been established in her honor with the Blackwell Church of Christ, 1035 S. Main Blackwell, OK 74631.

A live stream for the service is provided by Blackwell Church of Christ, via YouTube.
