Criswell Funeral Home, Ada

Ada-Services for Velta Maxine Ozment, 80, of Ada are 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Zac Christian will officiate.

Burial will follow at Troy Cemetery.

Mrs. Ozment died Friday, October 30, 2015 in a local nursing home. She was born September 15, 1935 in Arkoma, Oklahoma to Henry Edward and Pearly Jane McBride Robbins. She attended Spiro School.

She married Bobby Ozment on April 29, 1961. He preceded her in death on December 13, 2006. She was a homemaker and worked at Tinker Air Force Base. Mrs. Ozment was affiliated with the Worldwide Church of God and was a pianist.

Survivors include three daughters, Susan Evans and husband Michael of Ada, Janet Mayoral and husband Frank of Lancaster, CA and Trish Evans and husband Jason of Rockmart, GA; two sons, Jonathan Ozment of Barneveld, WI and Timothy Ozment of Ada; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband and son, Michael David Ozment.
