Tal was born on April 20,
1924 in Troy, Oklahoma to Levi Jasper and Ina (Day)
Niblett. He spent his working years serving our country
in the United States Coast Guard until his retirement
after serving for 20 years. Tal joined in 1943, was a
WWII Veteran and he took care of the water booyes on the
Mississippi River. The last few years he was in he was
up in Detroit, Michigan and his job was to break ice all
the way up to the Northwest Passage. Tal in his younger
years was a great basketball player and even played in
the Coast Guard. In his later years and before his
health got bad you could bet if there was a sporting
event, Tal would be there. He enjoyed watching sports,
going to Dairy Queen every morning for coffee and
playing the Pick 3 Lottery every single day.
Tal is preceded in death by his parents, Jasper and Ina
Niblett; 7 brothers and 2 sisters.
Those he leaves to cherish his memories a host of nieces, nephews and friends who will deeply miss him and the impact he made on their lives.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Troy Cemetery in Troy, Oklahoma.
