Graveside Services for Mr.
Brice J. "Jack" Jarman, 81, of Tishomingo, Oklahoma will be held on Wednesday,
May 22nd, 2013 at 10:00 a. m. at the Troy Cemetery with Pastor Will Pasieczny
officiating. Mr. Jarman passed away on May 19th, 2013 at the Mercy Hospital of
Ardmore, Oklahoma.
Jack was born on November 18th, 1931 in Tishomingo to Henry C. Jarman and
Estella (Brooks) Jarman. He grew up in this area and graduated from Tishomingo
High School. Jack served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict
and was Honorably Discharged. He married Martha Merlene Reed on January 17th,
1975 in San Antonio, Texas and they returned to Johnston County in 1978. Jack
was a farmer/rancher and retired from the Oklahoma State Highway Department, on
the road crew with 12 years of service. He was also of the Methodsit faith.
He was preceded in deathb by his parents; five brothers, Oda, Weldon, Buster,
Orlan and Elbie Jarman and five sisters, verdie Hill, Ruby Lofton, Opal Lamb,
Etta Payne and Jewel Rowe.
Jack is survived by his wife Merlene, of the home; his son, Henry Jarman of San
Antonio, Texas; two daughters, Martha Trevino and Jennifer Wiess, both of San
Antonio; several grand and great-grandchildren; and other relatives.
Pallbearers for the service will be: Dean Ross, Charlie Locke, Ron Rowe, Terry
Trevino, Jeffrey Jarman and James Lofton. Honorary Bearers will be: Randy Hall,
Hercel Lofton, Dustin Rowe, Willie Kirkpatrick, Ron Roberts and Henry Jarman.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
