Funeral Services for Mrs. Vickie Jean (Miller) Huckleby, 53, of the Reagan Community, near Tishomingo, Oklahoma will be held on Tuesday, August 7th, 2012 at 10:00 a. m. at the Westside Church of Christ in Tishomingo with Pastor Jon Smith officiating.
Interment will follow in the Troy Cemetery.
Mrs. Huckleby passed away on August 2nd, 2012, at the Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City. Vickie was born on December 1st, 1958, at the Perrin AFB Hospital in Pottsboro, Texas to Clifford Walton "Walt" Miller and Ester (Dallas) Miller. She attended school in Mill Creek, Oklahoma and married James "Jim" Huckleby on the banks of Pennington Creek, on April 19th, 1988. Vickie worked as a nurses aide at the Hillcrest Care Center in Tishomingo and at the Artesian Nursing Home in Sulphur. She was also a care giver to family and friends. She was of the Church of Christ faith.
Vickie was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Sandra Clement.
She is survived by her husband Jim, of the home; her son, Michael Miller of Reagan; her step-son, James William Huckleby of Kansas City, Missouri; three brothers, Stanley Miller and his wife Sharon, Mark Miller and his wife Stacy, all of Reagan and Faron Miller and his wife Darlene of Bells, Texas; her sister, Glenda Miller of Reagan; numerous other relatives and friends. Pallbearers for the service will be: Delwyn Hughes, Arnold Farmer, Wendell Shackleford, Gary Miller, Mark Miller, II, Josh Miller and Brennan Miller. Honorary Bearers will be: Johnny Shackleford, Max Miller and Mikennon Miller.
The family will receive friends on Monday, August 6th, from 7-8 pm at the
funeral home.
