Services for Mary L. Beratto, 70, of Troy, were held at 2 p.m.,
Tuesday, September 14, in the Central Baptist Church, with pastor
Billy Ward officiating.
Mrs. Beratto was born July 9, 1934, at Burneyville, the daughter of
Joseph Sherman Nail and Alice Evelyn Roberts Nail. She died
Saturday, September 11, 2004, at the Medical Center of Southeastern
Oklahoma, Durant.
Survivors include her husband, Vincent, of the home; a son, Joe
Beratto of Caddo; two daughters, Sherry Smith of Reagan and Mary
Whitaker of Paden; a brother, Bob Nail of Nocona, Texas; a sister,
Thelma Roberts of Plainview; five grandchildren; four
step-grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and
nephews.
Mrs. Beratto was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother,
Wendell Nail.
Pallbearers were Ron McCall, Dwain Binderim, Liz Hearrell, Jack
Smith, Bob McDonough and Steve Beratto.
Interment was in the Troy Cemetery, under the direction of Clark
Funeral Service, Tishomingo.
