Funeral Services for Mr. Edgar Franklin Webb, 89, of the Fillmore Community will be held on Monday, May 14, 2018 at 10:00 a. m. at the Coleman Church of Christ with Neil Mackey officiating. 

Interment will follow in the Tishomingo Cemetery with Military Honors provided by The Chickasaw Nation Honor Guard. Mr. Webb passed away on May 10, 2018 at his home.

Edgar was born on August 10, 1928 in Mannsville, Oklahoma to Eddie B. Webb and Lillie Ann Ellen (Graham) Webb. He graduated from high school at Mannsville and then served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict. During his military service, he was a recipient of the Purple Heart.  Edgar married Katie Evelyn Thomas on June 2, 1954 in Durant, Oklahoma and was a lifelong resident of Johnston County.  Mr. Webb was a farmer and rancher all of his life and enjoyed hunting and fishing as his hobbies.  He was also a member of the Coleman Church of Christ.
 
He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant son, Franklin Ray Webb, his daughter, Barbara Ann Carter; two grandsons, Chris William Franklin Webb and Dwayne Kelvin Webb and his life-long friend, John D. Willard.
 
Mr. Webb is survived by his wife Katie of the home; two sons, Rickey Webb and his wife Susan of Calera, Oklahoma and John Thomas Webb of Wapanucka, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Tracy Carter and husband Tim of Milburn, Oklahoma, Melanie Kallemeyn of Grand Junction, Colorado, John Eddie Carter and wife Sara of Coleman, Oklahoma, Stephanie and Brian Ball of Georgia, Ana Deachrge and James Webb of Texas, John T. Webb, Jr. of Georgia, Don Forguson of Mannsville, Misty Olsen and husband Eddie of Milburn, David Webb and wife Adela of Durant, great-grandchildren, Kalie Carter, Noah Carter, Hunter Forguson, Chloe Forguson, Chase Forguson, Emma Olsen, Troy Olsen, Damien Webb and Athena Webb; other relatives and friends.

Casket Bearers for the service will be: John Eddie Carter, David E. Webb, Noah Carter, Tim Carter, Eddie Olsen and Kenley Harner. Honorary Bearers will be:  D. J. Webb, Jerry McDaniel, Melvin Morgan, Grant McDaniel, Don Forguson and Eric Olsen
