Funeral Services for Mrs. Glenna P. Warden, 83, of Tishomingo
will be held on Friday, April 9, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. in the Clark Funeral Chapel
with Rev. Kenneth McCarthick officiating. Interment will follow in the
Tishomingo Cemetery. Mrs. Warden passed away on Wednesday, April 7th, at the
Hillcrest Care Center.
Glenna was born on March 24, 1927 in Tishomingo to Frank Bigford and Lois
Maxwell Bigford. She attended Tishomingo Schools and graduated from Tishomingo
High School in the class of 1946. She married Jack K. Warden on February 15,
1947 in Wichita Falls, Texas and they owned and operated the Warden Dairy for
many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband on June 15, 2005; two
sisters, Helen Perkins and Billie Coleta Bigford; two brothers, Roy & Jim
Bigford and her great-granddaughter, Kennedy Ann Davenport.
Mrs. Warden is survived by her son, Ray Warden & wife Nancy of Tulsa; two
daughters, Kay Deaver & husband Bud, and Susie Morton & husband Wayne, all of
Tishomingo; one brother, Bill Bigford & wife Dorothy of Lakeland, Florida; three
sisters, Lillian Haney of Coalgate, OK, Faye McGee of Dallas, TX and Bobbie Jean
Akins of Lakeland, FL; Grandchildren, David, Tyler, Evan Warden, Carmen Goltry,
Dana Davenport, Lance Deaver, Michael Morton and Susanne Badiyan;
great-grandchildren, Emma & Chase Warden, James Warden, Katie, Kelcey & Karli
Davenport, Ashley Hubbard, Amber, Tanner and Gareth Morton and Lauren, Conner
and Isabella Badiyan. Also, other relatives and a host of friends.
Pallbearers for the service will be: Joe Bill Caskey, Mike Lovett, Steve Cellum,
Scotty McCarthick, Scott Hurt, Chase Daniels.
