Funeral Services for Stanley Wayne Strang, 45, of Tishomingo
will be held on Thursday, May 27, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Church of the
Nazarene in Tishomingo with Rev.'s Chad Townsley, Dick Sowder and Dwight
Campbell officiating. A eulogy will be given by Sammy Gray. Interment will
follow in the Tishomingo Cemetery with Military Honors provided by The Chickasaw
Nation Honor Guard. Mr. Strang passed away on Friday, May 21st, at his home.
Stanley was born on August 24, 1964 in Atoka, Oklahoma to Wayne David Strang and
Ellen Deca Bond Strang. He graduated from high school in Muldrow, Oklahoma in
1982 and served over ten years in the United States Army. Stanley worked for CMI
in Oklahoma City, for floral wholesale in Holdenville, Oklahoma, was a welder in
construction, a small engine repairman, and numerous other jobs. ( “Jack of all
Trades”). He was also a member of Church of the Nazarene. Stanley passed away on
Friday, May 21st at his home at the age of 45 years, 8 months and 27 days. He
was preceded in death by his father, Wayne David Strang on May 26, 2009.
Stanley is survived by his mother, Ellen Deca Strang of Tishomingo; his wife,
Jennifer of Ravia; his daughter, Latisha Strang, sons, Jeremy Strang & Melissa
Rivera and Jesse Strang, all of Tishomingo; his step-sons, Tommy & Tyler Hall of
Ravia; grandchildren, Ayva McDonald of Ardmore, Echo Strang and Payton Wyatt,
both of Tishomingo; his sister & husband, Angela & Dan Moody of Tishomingo;
nieces, KaSondra Yates of Soldotna, Alaska, Victoria Yates of Tishomingo and
Kayla Moody of Colorado Springs, CO; his nephew, Jason Moody of Alaska and other
relatives and friends.
Pallbearers for the service will be: Kevin Blackburn, Jon Ray, Vindle Ray, Ron
Cariker, Ray Williams, Raymond Williams and Tommy Hall. Honorary Bearers will
be: Mark Kennedy, Randy Hallmark, Rocky Hesbrook, Jon Haines and Terry Tatum.
