Norman Bryan Stallings was born on September 4, 1958, in Colfax
County, New Mexico. He passed from this life on June 18, 2025,
in Tishomingo, Oklahoma.
As a teenager, Norman worked in the shop and oilfield for his
father at Clarence Casing Crew. He attended and graduated from
Woodward High School in 1976. After graduation, he attended
college at the University of Oklahoma. There he became a
lifelong Sooners fan. He opened his first business while living
in Norman. In the late 80’s, Norman moved to Tishomingo to live
near his parents. He owned and operated a business in Tishomingo
and Madill until his retirement.
He loved any OU sport, watching New York Yankees baseball,
Murray State College baseball, and golf. He had such a bright
smile, a heavy laugh, and always a touch of sarcasm in anything
he said.
Norman is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Sybil
Stallings and brother, Gary Don Stallings.
He is survived by his aunt, Margie Stallings of Jetmore, Kansas
and other relatives, family, and friends.
Graveside services are set for Friday, June 27, 2025, 10:00 AM
at Tishomingo Cemetery Pavilion. Chaplain Don Fentem to
officiate. Services are under the direction of Brown's Funeral
Service of Durant.
