Funeral Services for Donald Jack Smith, 71, of Tishomingo
will be held on Saturday, June 26, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in the Clark Funeral
Chapel with Pastor Jon Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the
Tishomingo Cemetery. Mr. Smith passed away on Tuesday, June 22nd, at his home.
Don was born on November 9, 1938 in Borger, Texas to Marvin Jackson Smith and
Ruby Jewel Pryor Smith. He grew up in the Velma-Alma, Oklahoma area and
graduated from high school there in 1957. He married Louise Moore on April 29,
1958 in Healdton, Oklahoma and had lived in this area for many years. Don worked
for many years as a truck driver and landscaper. He was preceded in death by his
parents.
Don is survived by his wife Louise, of the home; his son & daughter-in-law,
Craig & Sandy Smith of Duncan; two daughters & sons-in-law, Ranada & Raymond
Hulsey of Tishomingo and Gaye & Troy Goodin of Ardmore; his brother &
sister-in-law, Larry & Sara Smith of Norge, OK; two sisters, Jacquita Wilson of
Burns Flat, OK and Marilyn Curtiss of Yukon; grandchildren, Shannon Hughes &
husband Terry, Cameron Hulsey, Sydney Smith, Donovan Smith, Judd Goodin and Beth
Goodin; great-grandchildren, MaKayla, Terry Lee & Kody Hughes.
Pallbearers for the service will be family members.
