Sandra J. (Warden) Pralle, lovingly known as “Sandy,” was born on March 2, 1950, in Tishomingo, Oklahoma, to Virgle “Byrd” Warden and Norene (Pleasant) Warden. She passed from this life on January 19, 2026, at the age of 75.

Sandy attended Prairie View Elementary School before continuing her education in Tishomingo, where she graduated high school in 1968. She went on to attend the University of Oklahoma, earning her degree in 1973. She was united in marriage to Walt Pralle on September 7, 1997 in Dallas, Texas. Throughout her life, Sandy embraced many careers, including junior high school teacher, real estate agent and ultimately flight attendant — a role she loved and from which she retired. Her love for travel perfectly matched her adventurous and independent spirit. When asked about her favorite dish to cook, her husband quickly answered, “Ha!” — a reflection of her humor and honesty. Sandy was known for her spunky personality, sharp wit, and the ability to make any conversation entertaining. She especially loved her grandchildren, traveling, and football. She could talk about football with the best of them and truly knew the game.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Virgle and Norene Warden; her brother, Lew “Wentz” Warden; her sisters, Marion and Nancy; and her daughter-in-law, Shannon Spence.

Those left to cherish her memories are her husband, Walt Pralle; her son, Jeff Spence; her daughter, Julie Spence; her grandchildren, Jeffrey, Bailey, Ellie, and Samuel; her sister, Linda Lowry; brother, Larry Warden; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and dear friends who will deeply miss her.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at the United Church of Tishomingo.

Interment will follow at Tishomingo Cemetery.

Family hour will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 27, 2026.

Those serving as pallbearers are Jeff Spence, Brian Kelly, Ken LaFevers, Gene Barrett, Randall Blakemore, and Ben Dortch. Honorary pallbearers are Randy Baumgarten, Walt Pralle, Mike Brooks, George Otey, Nathan Lowry, Sandy Northcutt, Larry Warden and Kent Warden.
