Funeral Services for Mr. Gamaliel Richard “Ricky” Pacheco,
Jr., 42, of Tishomingo, Oklahoma will be held on Monday, July 29th, 2013 at
11:00 a. m. at the First Baptist Church with Ricky’s brother, Jesse Pacheco
officiating. Interment will follow in the Tishomingo Cemetery with Military
Honors provided by the Chickasaw Nation Honor Guard. Mr. Pacheco passed away on
July 24th, 2013 at the Medical Center of Southeastern Oklahoma in Durant.
Ricky was born on September 20th, 1970 in Ft. Worth, Texas to Gamaliel R.
Pacheco, Sr. and Myrtle (Morris) Pacheco. He attended school in Madill and
Tishomingo and graduated from Northside High in Ft. Worth. He served in the
United States Marine Corps for 6 years during Operation Desert Storm and was
Honorably Discharged. Later he worked as a supervisor in the warehousing
industry. Ricky has been disabled for a number of years due to an accident. He
was preceded in death by his father.
He is survived by a two sons, Christen Pacheco, and Jonathan Casillias, his
daughter, Jennifer Pacheco, all of Ft. Worth; his mother, Myrtle Pacheco of
Tishomingo; four brothers, Jesse Pacheco and wife Victoria of Tishomingo, Joe
Cardenas and wife Tonda of Madill, Oklahoma, Jeff Langston of Tishomingo and
Henry Langston of Arkansas; his sister, LaFawnda Anzures and husband Jose’ of
Tishomingo; other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends on Saturday evening, July 27th, from 7-9 pm at
the funeral home.
