Funeral Services for Brenda Cheryl (Cobb) Oliver, 63, of Eufaula,
Oklahoma will be held on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at 2:00 p. m. in the Herb
Clark Memorial Chapel in Tishomingo, Oklahoma. Interment will follow in the
Tishomingo Cemetery. She passed away on April 8, 2016 in Eufaula.
Brenda was born on November 27, 1952 in Guthrie, Oklahoma. She was the
daughter of the late, Woodrow Cobb and Eva Lula (Meharg) Cobb. She grew up
in Tishomingo and graduated from high school here in 1971. Afterward, she
attended Southeastern Oklahoma State University in Durant, Oklahoma. Brenda
worked for a few years for the Oklahoma State Department of Education in
Oklahoma City, where she met and later married Perry Oliver on November 3,
1978 in Seminole, Oklahoma. They moved to their home near Lake Eufaula in
1986. She enjoyed fishing and water skiing as her hobbies.
She is survived by her husband Perry, several cousins, other relatives
and a host of friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 11, from 8:30 am until 5:00 p. m.
