Funeral Services for Mr. Glenn E. O'Dell, 81, of Milburn,
Oklahoma will be held on Saturday, March 1st, 2014 at 10:00 a. m. in the Herb
Clark Memorial Chapel at Clark Funeral Service in Tishomingo, Oklahoma. Brother
Howard Stanley will officiate. Interment will follow in the Tishomingo Cemetery.
Mr. O'Dell passed away on February 25th, 2014 at the Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma
City.
Glenn was born on July 24th, 1932 in Pilot Point, Texas to Fay O'Dell and
Beatrice (Davis) O'Dell. He graduated from high school at Nida, Oklahoma and
lived in Johnston County all of his life. Glenn married Nell Mason on March 4th,
1952 in Carthage, Texas. He also served in the United States Army during the
Korean Conflict. Glenn worked for over 30 years as a rural mail carrier and was
also a farmer/rancher.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Vernon "Buddy" O'Dell,
Charlie O'Dell, Weldon "Kenneth" O'Dell and Donald O'Dell and two sisters, Helen
White and Barbara Faye Norris.
Glenn is survived by his wife Nell, of the home; his daughter, Glenda Renfro and
husband Jerry of the Folsom Community; his son, Weldon O'Dell of Ardmore,
Oklahoma; three granddaughters, Tonya Bryant and husband Stacey of Folsom, Tara
Riley and husband John of Oklahoma City and Tosha Whitmire of Folsom;
great-granddaughters, Logan Bryant, Morgan Bryant and Reagan Riley; numerous
nieces, nephews and other relatives.
