Clark Funeral Service

Funeral Services for Mr. Jack C. Niblett, 87, of Tishomingo, Oklahoma will be held on Sunday, January 3rd, 2015 at 2:00 p. m. in the Herb Clark Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jon Hazell officiating. A Private Family Burial will follow in the Tishomingo Cemetery. Mr. Niblett passed away on December 30th, 2015 in Albuquerque, NM.  Viewing for the public will be on Saturday evening from 5-7 pm at the funeral home. At the family's request, the  casket will not be opened after the service.
 

Jack Carol Niblett was born on October 11, 1928 and passed away on December 30, 2015 at age 87. Jack was born to Lenieve Carrell and Cole Niblett in Milburn, Oklahoma and was raised by his aunt and uncle, P. G. and Barbara Ballard.
 

He graduated from Tishomingo High School, Murray State College and attended Southeastern Oklahoma State University in Durant, Oklahoma.  Jack was married to Lou Thomas in 1951. They were happily married for 65 years.
 

Jack worked for Bell Oil and Gas for 15 years, was a field foreman for Arrowhead Development in OKC for 10 years, and had his own electrical and refrigeration business in Tishomingo for several years. He was a home builder and beautiful furniture builder, a bee keeper, wine maker, story teller and seasoned traveler.
 

Jack has a daughter Carol. She and her husband Rod live in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.  He and Lou had two daughters, Patti Niblett Bridgeman and husband James and Jayne Niblett Hull and husband Glen.  They have three grandchildren, Lindsay Ratzlaff and husband Tyson, Ty Hull and wife Chelsea and John Bridgeman and wife Tyler, also, two great-grandchildren, Parks and Kate, a brother, Phil Ballard of OKC and many other half-siblings and relatives.
 

Jack loved the Lord and loved singing old hymns in the choir. He belonged to the Presbyterian-Christian Church in Tishomingo and the Calvary Baptist Church.

Pallbearers for the service will be: Ty Hull, John Bridgeman, Tyson Ratzlaff, Scott Ballard, Jack Ballard, and Carlisle Heath. Honorary Bearers will be: Jerry Chapman, Don Hall, Robert Zamora and Carl Yeats.
